We saw sharks, colorful sting-rays, turtles, frogs, fish, a dolphin show, a Sponge-Bob 4D movie (where we actually got splashed), and one giant anaconda. Aside from the cab ride from Union Station to the Aquarium, the anaconda was the scariest thing we experienced during the day.
Mason's favorite things were the dolphin show and a giant crab in one of the tanks. It's claw was so big it could have grabbed one of our necks if it wanted to. Mason has decided he wants an electric eel, a tiny snail and a small crab for his fish tank. I'll let you guess which one we will NOT be going home with from Petco. Overall we had an awesome day together.
Thanks, Aunt Katie for the best Christmas present ever!
Meanwhile back at home, Jeff worked most of the day and Megan stayed home with Nana and Papa. I think Megan, Nana and Papa had almost as much fun as we did at the Aquarium. I was told that Megan could not get enough of running into Papa's arms. Here are a few more recent pictures of the kids including a great one of Megan's flyaway hair after a bath. I'm gonna hold that one until she brings her first boyfriend home (when she's 25 of course!).
Well, we've got a busy day tomorrow - ice fishing for the boys in the morning, a mid-day basketball game for Mason and church in the evening. Such is a day in the life of the Leedle's.
